Colors is he first project from Natsuko Sugao, a Japanese trumpeter trained in the field of classical music and jazz. In her work, she links these two areas to the Japanese tradition she grew up in to create music with clear impressionist resonances. Based on jazz structures and with swing as a driving force, Natsuko brings all her personal history into a journey taking us through some of the most evocative landscapes of timeless Japan. The colours of each suite are tinted by musicians who accompany Natsuko on her trip through the four Japanese seasons. All the them are young, with great musical training and broad experience on a wide range of stages.

Today it is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference point in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains.
