With CliCme & Ivan Lorenzana

In this project, we never forget the youngest members of our audience, offering them a participatory approach with plenty of photographic experiments focusing on light and music.

Seeking to create a space for photographic and sound experiments, we wanted to recreate two large spaces for discovering the medium of photography, focusing on light and music as the thread running through the performances. In each space, participants will find a light experiment: they will see it, they will play with it, they will write about it and they will manipulate it, discovering and experiencing the rhythm of music in light along with its creative, artistic, technical and scientific possibilities.

This activity is designed to create an experimental experience and, at the same time, to bring out images, situations and moments we would like to photograph. We will stimulate and seek out attractive visuals and creative work with light and sound. We will stimulate a desire to bring out the camera and record the beauty of a changing instant. We will guide and support, suggest, observe and photograph. We have planned a great light painting activity in the Auditorium and three different spaces for discovering photographic phenomena in the Gaudí Room, in that space with light. This entire collective activity will be carried out in interaction with music.

Activity designed for children aged over three.

Participants can bring all kinds of photographic devices.

Casa Milà, popularly known as «La Pedrera» (the stone quarry), an ironic allusion to the resemblance of its façade to an open quarry, was constructed between 1906 and 1912 by Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). For its uniqueness, artistic and heritage value has received major recognition and in 1984 was inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List, for its exceptional universal value. Nowadays is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains.
