Milà Family’s Apartment

Art Exhibition

On the main floor was the residence of the Milà family, the first owners of the building and the people who commissioned Antoni Gaudí to design it. Although few original elements of this flat are preserved, as the lady of the house redecorated a great deal of it when Gaudí died, there are some carved stone columns with marine reliefs and inscriptions, as well as impressive fragments of false ceilings playing with the idea of continuity with the undulating rhythms of the facade.

This space hosts the art exhibitions held at La Pedrera throughout the year. It can only be visited when there are exhibitions at La Pedrera.
