Summer Nights at La Pedrera are a special occasion and an opportunity to discover Gaudí’s most magical space. In the unrivalled setting of the building’s rooftop, members of the public will be able to enjoy the summer night air, views of the city, music and a glass of cava.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 21 June to 8 September, we will groove to the sounds played by musicians on the local and international jazz scene.
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 21 June to 8 September.
The Nelson Project presents its second album Mode Joe Vol.2 during the 2012 season of Summer Nights. On this new record, this Barcelona-based octet looks at the career of the saxophonist and composer Joe Henderson, one of the leading figures in the world of jazz in the second half of the 20th century. His faultless arrangements combined with the urge of these experienced young musicians to improvise will give us a night full of energy that will help us to bid a fond farewell to the summer.

Casa Milà, popularly known as «La Pedrera», is a most unusual building, constructed between 1906 and 1912 by the architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) and declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1984. Today it is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference point in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains.
