Frequently Asked Questions

Ver todas las FAQ's
  • Do I need to buy tickets in advance to visit the building?

It is not essential, but it is highly recommended. This way you avoid queues and waiting at the ticket office, as well as the processing fees. You can buy La Pedrera tickets on our website.

  • Can I book a guided tour?

Yes, a guided tour for groups is available on request and includes the same areas as the free visit to La Pedrera: the Warrior Rooftop, the Whale Attic (Gaudí Exhibition), the Tenants’ Apartment, the Flower Courtyard (Passeig de Gràcia) and the Butterfly Courtyard (Provença). A guided tour is available, on request, in several languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, German, Russian and Japanese. For more information and bookings, call 93 214 25 83 or email grups@lapedrera.com.

  • How long does the La Pedrera Essential visit take?
The La Pedrera Essential visit is self-guided (audioguide included) and takes approximately an hour or an hour and a half.
  • What is the cancellation and booking change policy?

Once the tickets have been purchased by the user, no date changes to reservations or cancellations with a refund will be accepted.

A single change of date and/or time per reservation will only be accepted if the user chooses to add the flexibility insurance during the purchase process, at an additional cost of €1.90, provided that the change is requested before the date of the visit and the tickets have not been validated.

To request the change, an email must be sent to info@lapedrera.com, indicating the reservation number and the desired new date and/or time, subject to availability.

In the event of rain, the rooftop will be closed for visitor safety reasons. In this case, regardless of whether the user has taken out the flexibility insurance or not, the visit may be rescheduled for another available date, provided that the ticket has not yet been validated. If the ticket has already been validated, no changes will be accepted.

In the event of cancellation of exclusive visits due to a justified and duly accredited cause, the user undertakes to notify this in writing as soon as possible by emailing info@lapedrera.com, subject to the following conditions. If the cancellation is made up to 15 days prior to the date of the exclusive visit, the full amount of the reservation will be refunded, whereas if the cancellation is made less than 15 days prior to the date of the exclusive visit, no refund will be issued.

  • Is it possible to visit La Pedrera at night?
Yes, with the La Pedrera Night Experience visit, a different, exclusive experience that allows you to discover the building enveloped in the magic of the night, with multiple projections on the skylights, special lighting and a soundtrack to accompany it all. More information and tickets.
  • Can people with reduced mobility visit all of La Pedrera?

Yes, the public parts of the building are accessible to wheelchairs without obstacles, except for the rooftop and the mezzanine, which are not suitable for wheelchairs or prams due to the constant unevenness of Gaudí’s structure. However, even in this space there is a platform at the exit of the lift where you can get a general overview. Find out more about accessibility at La Pedrera here. And if you have any questions, you can write to accessibilitat@fclp.cat.

On the other hand, wheelchairs are available to facilitate the visit. This is a free service, subject to availability. Bookings must be made in advance by email accessibilitat@fclp.cat.
