Summer nights at La Pedrera 2015

Jazz concerts at La Pedrera 2015

The essence of Gaudí with live jazz.

The most magical Summer nights in the city of Barcelona: a unique experience, enjoying La Pedrera at night with live jazz on the roof terrace while contemplating one of the most spectacular views in Barcelona.

Summer nights includes a free visit to the Espai Gaudí, a visual tour of the work of the unique architect, followed by a drink on the terrace, an emblematic, evocative place that invites you to experience the architecture, the night, the city and the music.

These year we present a series of proposals with the most representative talent in jazz made in Barcelona, combining this with figures representing the international jazz scene to achieve an unmatched live soundtrack for enjoying summer nights.

Doors open at 8.30pm. Concert starts: 9pm
End of the activity: 10.30pm

Casa Milà, popularly known as «La Pedrera» (the stone quarry), an ironic allusion to the resemblance of its façade to an open quarry, was constructed between 1906 and 1912 by Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). For its uniqueness, artistic and heritage value has received major recognition and in 1984 was inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List, for its exceptional universal value. Nowadays is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains.
