The Giants of La Pedrera

A celebration of Catalan popular culture, with live music and dance in front of the façade of La Pedrera. Free and open to everyone!

This Sunday, 13 September, La Pedrera dresses up for a historic occasion! After seven months of restoration and more than 20 years without work of this scale, our four traditional festival giants and two capgrossos, or oversized-headed figures, return to the streets with a completely renewed appearance.

Don't miss this unique street performance, where Antoni Gaudí's own façade comes to life! Enjoy the sound of stonemasons at work, a dance performance by Esbart Sant Martí, a theatrical scene from the main balcony starring the Antoni Gaudí capgròs, and, as the highlight of the event, the presentation and traditional dance of the troupe.
