Barcino Quartet

The Barcino Quartet is a musical project that came into being in January 2026 at the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona, the result of the artistic curiosity and close collaboration of four young musicians who share the same approach to jazz. The group comprises Pau Reig Llunell on double bass, Manel Puig Martínez on guitar, Tomás Radicella on piano and Silvano Olalla on drums: four diverse musical backgrounds that converge in a sound deeply rooted in the genre’s tradition.

The quartet’s approach focuses on the performance and arrangement of jazz standards, which they revisit with respect, creativity and a contemporary perspective. Their work combines the solidity of the classical jazz idiom with a desire to explore new colours and dynamics.
