About the visit

This visit is perfect for art and architecture lovers. It includes general admission to La Pedrera-Casa Milà, the iconic building by Antoni Gaudí, and the major temporary exhibition "Cristina Iglesias. Passages", open until January 25, 2026.

Exceptionally, twice a year, the main floor of the former owners of La Pedrera, the Milà family, is open to all visitors, as it hosts the exhibition hall of the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation. The original ceilings, the windows, and the scale of the space highlight the significance of the apartment in its time.

In this case, it is the first major monographic exhibition in Barcelona of one of the most important creators on the contemporary art scene. The exhibition brings together over thirty works, dated between 2002 and the present, and offers an immersive journey through the fluid spaces of Gaudí’s architecture and the closed and open volumes of Iglesias’s sculptural universe.

With this ticket you can explore all the visitable spaces of La Pedrera and enjoy the most spectacular and iconic rooftop in Barcelona. The visit also includes the main floor, former residence of the Milà family, which hosts the temporary exhibition by Cristina Iglesias.
In addition, during the tour you can admire the spectacular mural paintings that decorate the interior courtyards and the main staircase of the building, with colors and forms inspired by nature.

Discover firsthand how Cristina Iglesias’s work and nature are endless sources of emotion and beauty. Don’t miss this unique experience!

What does the visit include?

Main floor

Designed by Gaudí as the residence of Pere Milà i Camps and Roser Segimon, it had rooms, high ceilings and modernist details. While they lived there, the rest was rented to Barcelona families. Today this space hosts temporary exhibitions all year round, making the most of the light and open spaces.

The façade

Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera, alludes to its appearance , like an exposed quarry (pedrera, in Catalan). Gaudí designed every detail with a unique artistic vision, and it was executed by hundreds of craftsmen of the time, who turned the stone and iron into an authentic living and monumental work of art.

The Rooftop

An emblematic rooftop with 360º panoramic views over Barcelona. The chimneys, ventilation towers and stairwells follow the undulating rhythm of the façade. Its symbolic forms, treated with trencadís mosaic of ceramic, stone or glass, combine beauty and function in a unique, vibrant space.

The Attic

A space full of harmony that houses the only Gaudí exhibition dedicated to his life and work. Under 270 brick arches, his creations are revealed through models, plans, designs and videos. An essential journey to discover his architecture and understand the keys to his genius

The Tenants' Apartment

A journey into the bourgeois lifestyle of 1911. This flat shows how a Barcelona family lived, with period furniture and details designed by Gaudí: mouldings, doorknobs, flooring... An authentic space that reflects an era and a city in the midst of transformation.

The Flower Courtyard

This courtyard was the main entrance for the owners of the building. A space full of colour and elegance, with floral murals painted on the walls and ceilings. The grand staircase, majestic and enveloping, rises between curved forms and natural light, creating a unique atmosphere.

The Butterfly Courtyard

A space that captivates with its design and visual richness. The vivid colours, spectacular wall paintings and the carefully designed architecture fill the courtyard with life. The majestic iron and glass doors, with their organic shapes and unique details, give character to this place full of light and harmony.
