Talents Jazz

Talents Jazz at La Pedrera is a music festival that reflects the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera’s commitment to young talent and musical creation. This summer, it returns with a new edition that brings together the best of emerging jazz in an incomparable setting: the rooftop of La Pedrera. In collaboration with the Conservatori del Liceu, Taller de Músics and ESMUC, the festival offers a carefully curated and ambitious programme that gives a voice to a new generation of musicians. This year once again features the winner of the 2026 Young Talent Award from the Associació de Músics de Jazz i Música Moderna de Catalunya, strengthening its connection with the local jazz scene.

The experience begins with a self-guided visit to La Pedrera’s attic, where visitors can discover Gaudí’s creative universe. The evening continues with a live concert on the rooftop, including a glass of cava, completing a unique experience with the city at your feet and jazz as the main attraction.

Talents Jazz returns to La Pedrera: the most musical summer lands on Gaudí’s rooftop

Barcelona is getting ready to welcome once again one of the most anticipated events of its cultural calendar. From 29 May to 31 July, La Pedrera opens its doors to a new edition of the Talents Jazz festival, consolidating the rooftop as the city’s favourite setting for summer nights.

Every Friday, Antoni Gaudí’s iconic building becomes the epicentre of young talent. In collaboration with leading musical institutions, the series offers a unique platform for new voices and composers redefining the genre. It is an exceptional opportunity to discover first-hand the vitality and freshness of today’s jazz scene.

JD GROUP

JD GROUP is a project led by saxophonist and composer Jonás Díaz. The band brings together five musicians with strong artistic personalities, who bring to life an original repertoire centred on modern jazz as its primary language, in constant dialogue with contemporary improvisation and influences from African-American music.

The project stems from an intimate dialogue between the piano and the voice, a space where everything begins and everything is revealed. The repertoire is a journey through different stages and identities, bringing together songs from her debut EP, *BITCH*, and those from her forthcoming album, *De cabellos de oro*, alongside reinterpretations of pieces from the jazz repertoire.

Barcino Quartet

The Barcino Quartet is a musical project that came into being in January 2026 at the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona, the result of the artistic curiosity and close collaboration of four young musicians who share the same approach to jazz.

In case of unfavourable weather forecast and in order to preserve the chosen date as much as possible, no performance will be cancelled before 7:00 pm on the same day of the concert. If the concert is eventually cancelled, visitors will be notified by email and information will also be provided via La Pedrera’s website and social media channels. In this case, visitors will be offered the possibility to reschedule their attendance for another date. If a dinner reservation has been made, it will be maintained.
