What does the visit include?

The façade

Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera, alludes to its appearance , like an exposed quarry (pedrera, in Catalan). Gaudí designed every detail with a unique artistic vision, and it was executed by hundreds of craftsmen of the time, who turned the stone and iron into an authentic living and monumental work of art.

The Rooftop

An emblematic rooftop with 360º panoramic views over Barcelona. The chimneys, ventilation towers and stairwells follow the undulating rhythm of the façade. Its symbolic forms, treated with trencadís mosaic of ceramic, stone or glass, combine beauty and function in a unique, vibrant space.

The Attic

A space full of harmony that houses the only Gaudí exhibition dedicated to his life and work. Under 270 brick arches, his creations are revealed through models, plans, designs and videos. An essential journey to discover his architecture and understand the keys to his genius

The Apartment

A journey into the bourgeois lifestyle of 1911. This flat shows how a Barcelona family lived, with period furniture and details designed by Gaudí: mouldings, doorknobs, flooring... An authentic space that reflects an era and a city in the midst of transformation.

The Flower Courtyard

This courtyard was the main entrance for the owners of the building. A space full of colour and elegance, with floral murals painted on the walls and ceilings. The grand staircase, majestic and enveloping, rises between curved forms and natural light, creating a unique atmosphere.

The Butterfly Courtyard

A space that captivates with its design and visual richness. The vivid colours, spectacular wall paintings and the carefully designed architecture fill the courtyard with life. The majestic iron and glass doors, with their organic shapes and unique details, give character to this place full of light and harmony.

Dalí Theatre-Museum, Figueres

The Dalí Theatre-Museum, created by Salvador Dalí himself on the ruins of the former municipal theatre of Figueres, is the largest surrealist work in the world. A total work of art where object and subject merge, where the work becomes a self-portrait of the genius who conceived it. Dalí breaks with the traditional concept of a museum and turns the visit into a participatory and unique experience that transports visitors into his imaginary universe.

Courtyard

The central courtyard is one of the most iconic and theatrical spaces. It is dominated by the Rainy Taxi installation, a Cadillac inside which it rains, accompanied by a female sculpture symbolising abundance, crowned by Gala’s boat and an umbrella. This installation illustrates Dalí’s desire to blur the boundaries between reality and dreams.

Stage

On the former stage, beneath the impressive glass dome, most of the double images and optical effects that characterise Dalí’s work are concentrated. Here the visitor becomes the protagonist, each glance revealing a new interpretation. It is also where Dalí recreates his universe, inspired by the Sistine Chapel, and the place he chose for his burial, symbolically closing his life cycle.

Treasure Room

Covered in red velvet, this room resembles a jewellery box housing Dalí’s most precious paintings, Gala, bread, the Empordà landscape and his intellectual and artistic references. A space that showcases his technical mastery.

Mae West Room

One of Dalí’s most avant-garde creations is the Mae West Room, a three-dimensional portrait of the American actress transformed into a surreal living room. The space invites visitors to step inside Dalí’s mind, where reality plays with humour and originality.
