And the Oscar goes to...

It is a wonderful backdrop – an exceptional building not to be missed if you come to Barcelona. In this Gaudí building, international films have been made, and we have been visited by famous artists, such as Woody Allen, Scarlett Johanson, Jack Nicholson and Maria Schneider.

These two took part in one of the most outstanding films made at La Pedrera-the Milà House – "The Passenger", directed by Michelangelo Antonioni – which brought Nicholson and Schneider together on La Pedrera’s terrace in 1975. In its day it was a great advertisement for the city because they were two leading figures of cinema at the time and for the decade that followed.

Thanks to Merli’s unpublished story, in Unknown La Pedrera, we can discover a treasure of Swiss cinema "L'Inconnu de Shandigor” (1967), a parody of James Bond-style spy movies filmed almost entirely at the Milà House.
