The exhibition  «Bill Viola. Mirrors of the Unseen» at the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, which can be visited at Casa Milán until 5 January, marked Bill Viola Night with the cooperation of the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Gran Teatre del Liceu. Various works by the American video artist Bill Viola were shown at the three venues, attracting the interest of the public.

At Casa Milà, visitors can see about 20 pieces making up the exhibition «Bill Viola. Mirrors of the Unseen». For the first time in Barcelona, it offers broad view of the career of an artist whose work has evolved in parallel with the development of video technology over the last 40 years. It covers everything from significant early works, such as The Reflecting Pool (1977-1979), to recent creations like the “Martyrs” series.

The exhibition has lit up the city, reaching the Palau de la Música Catalana concert hall, where there were continuous showings of The Messenger, 1996, The Crossing, 1996 and Inverted Birth, 2014; and the main auditorium of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, with Fire Woman, 2005, Tristans Ascension, 2005, Isolde's Ascension, 2005, Passage into Night, 2005 and Becoming Light, 2005.
