Gaudí’s essence with live jazz music

The most magical Summer Nights in Barcelona: a unique experience to enjoy La Pedrera at night, with live jazz music on the roof, and to admire one of the most spectacular views of Barcelona.

Summer Nights includes a free visit to the Espai Gaudí, a visual tour around the work of the amazing architect, followed by a glass of cava on the roof terrace, an emblematic and evocative setting that invites you to experience the architecture, the night, the city and the music.

In this year’s edition, we present a series of soirees with the most representative young jazz talent made in Barcelona, mixed with leading figures of the jazz landscape. A live soundtrack, the best way to accompany a summer’s night in an unforgettable setting.

Casa Milà, popularly known as «La Pedrera» (the stone quarry), an ironic allusion to the resemblance of its façade to an open quarry, was constructed between 1906 and 1912 by Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). For its uniqueness, artistic and heritage value has received major recognition and in 1984 was inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List, for its exceptional universal value. Nowadays is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains.
