La Pedrera arrives in Poland

Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera is collaborating on the «Gaudí» exhibition at one of the country’s most important cultural institutions, the ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznań, Poland. The Fundació is contributing 7 collection models of different buildings, particularly La Pedrera, as well as a set of tiles, parquet flooring, a set of knobs and handles, a window grille, a large polyfunicular model and a complete collection of tactile materials from the building.

Gaudí in Poland

The exhibition can be visited until 3 July 2022. It is curated by Charo Sanjuán Gómez and organised by ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznań, City of Poznań and Aurea Cultura and Art. It is the first such comprehensive presentation of architect Antoni Gaudí’s work in Poland and also the largest in Europe. The exhibition brings together up to 150 pieces from Gaudí’s most notable works, including Palau Güell, Casa Milà, Casa Batlló and Sagrada Família. Highlights include plans, drawings, sculptures, furniture and architectural elements, among others. All the pieces come from public and private collections, with Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera also contributing to the exhibition.
