Every year, Talents Jazz presents a programme of jazz concerts between late spring and early summer. The series makes the most of the sunset time slot to create a special atmosphere that invites visitors to enjoy music in the exceptional setting of La Pedrera, on Passeig de Gràcia.

The series is organised by the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera with the participation of three music schools in Barcelona: Conservatori del Liceu, Taller de Músics and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. The aim is to give visibility to young musicians, offering them a platform to showcase their talent and take a step forward in their professional careers. It also includes the Associació de Músics de Jazz i Música Moderna de Catalunya.

When does Talents Jazz take place at La Pedrera?

Talents Jazz takes place annually between spring and summer. The 2026 edition will run from 29 May to 31 July. All concerts are scheduled on Fridays, from 8:00 pm to 10:15 pm, coinciding with sunset as natural light fades into night.

A jazz festival in Barcelona with views

The Rooftop of La Pedrera – Casa Milà hosts all Talents Jazz concerts. A space not originally designed by Gaudí for music, yet where it fits naturally.

The structure of the rooftop, with chimneys and sculptural volumes arranged irregularly, organically defines the layout of the audience and musicians, without the need for additional seating or staging.

From this elevated point, the space becomes a spectacular viewpoint over Barcelona, where visitors can identify landmarks such as Passeig de Gràcia, the Eixample grid, the Mediterranean Sea and buildings like Torre Glòries and Sagrada Família.
